​Home inspections are an important part of real estate process.


PRE-SALE: I offer a pre-sale inspection.  If issues can be found before being on the market,  they can usually easily be corrected and to maximize the profit and ensure that there are no surprises when the buyers come along.

BEFORE BUYING: I offer purchasers inspection. By doing so, you will know what you are getting into when you invest your hard earned money into a house. I take the time to tell the story of the house you love, so that it can become the home you always wanted. I cover every aspect of the home from the attic to the foundation and everything in between. A typical home inspection takes 3 hours for the inspection and  approximately 3 hours in report writing. The reports contain many photos and and directives to possible corrective solutions to issues.

I am certified through FLIR Canada. I use the latest in technology to get you the information that you need to make a well informed decision.​

​Hello, I am Neil Boyes, and my company’s name is Above and Beyond Home Inspections Ltd. My goal is to provide you with the highest quality of service possible. My inspection reports are printed or emailed on site, using the most up to date, understandable and comprehensive Palm Tech System containing integrated digital photos for clarification. I also offer thermal imaging for residential energy efficiency; this is done in conjunction with an EXTECH moisture meter. Being a home owner in Prince George and Comox BC, as well as a general contractor throughout the years, helped me to attain high marks in achieving my home inspector’s license through HIABC. I fulfilled my practical training with Mr. Rick Neveaux AHI in Courtenay at Action home inspections. Rick mentored me in all aspects of home inspections and client care, confidentiality issues, agent expectations as well as other party involved. Our companies exchange ideas and brainstorm, welcoming competition, cooperation and feedback, thereby helping to ensure the highest standards and the best overall service.

  • In Prince George:
    • Residential House under 3000 square feet: 650 $ plus tax.
    • If the residential house is over 3000 square feet, please ask for a quote. 
    • ​All quote will be valid for 48 hours.
    • 50$ per suite over the residential house price, if applicable.
    • Condo : 550 $ plus tax.
    • Mobile Home: 650 $ plus tax. Please note that I do not do home inspection on mobile home built before 1985.​
  • Quesnel and Vanderhoof: 700 $ plus tax.     
  • Fort St James and Mackenzie: 750 $ plus tax.
